O'Shea Jackson aka Ice Cube is a rapper and actor was born June 15, 1969 in Los Angeles, originally a member of NWA, which was then pursued a successful solo career in music and movies.
Ice Cube began writing lyrics in high school, including Boyz 'N Tha Hood, a song resumed later by the NWA that made him famous. After a brief appearance in the HBO group, Ice Cube formed the group NWA with Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, MC Ren and DJ Yella. The first album NWA, Straight Outta Compton, which became a reference to the group brought notoriety, but the words committed Fuck Tha Police earned them a letter of recommendation from the FBI.
Ice Cube left NWA in 1989 due to financial conflicts and personality with Eazy-E. Ice Cube began his career with personal AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted who benefitted from the peak of popularity of rap at the time to properly sell. Although he has been criticized for comments he misogynes and violent, even the critics have had to agree that the album was innovative. Ice Cube turned them into his first film, Boyz N the Hood, produced by John Singleton. In 1991, Ice Cube came the album Death Certificate, which was more controversial than the previous one, including the tube No Vaseline.
Ice Cube participated in the tour Lollapalooza in 1992 and subsequently released a new album, The Predator, which met with great success. After this album, the notoriety of Ice Cube began to decline. Lethal Injection, released in 1993, has not been widely appreciated by the fans and critics, and while Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's stamped with their West Coast dominated the scene of American hip hop. Ice Cube later released a duet with Dre on the song Natural Born Killaz. In 1995, Ice Cube formed the group Westside Connection with Mack 10 and WC, releasing their first album Bow Down later in the year.
Ice Cube then put his musical career brackets to turn in numerous films including Anaconda with Jennifer Lopez. He released an album in two volumes between 1998 and 2000 entitled War & Peace, which includes the tubes Hello and You Can Do It. In 2004, Westside Connection released a second album, Terrorist Threaths with the tube Gangsta Nation where Nate Dogg is the chorus.
Ice Cube was converted in 1992 to Nation of Islam, a group of black Muslim Americans
